Ece Soyer Demir and Mehmet Demir, members of the SMA-DER Board of Directors, shot a film telling the story of their son Çağan Meriç in 2019 in order to raise awareness of SMA, to guide newly diagnosed patients' relatives in the processes they will encounter, and to emphasize the preventability of the disease with SMA carrier screening.
