There has been a need to make a statement following the recent news coming from different places that individual donations and aid were collected using the Turkish SMA Foundation name/logo.

Turkish SMA Foundation continues its activities. While continuing its operations, it does not open a stand in any area for donations, does not go door to door to collect donations in return for receipts, and does not run a special individual campaign. First of all, we say that this is fraud and a crime. We state that the legal rights of our foundation are reserved in this case.

As Turkey SMA Foundation; ‘Fair and accessible treatment for every patient’ We work to raise awareness of SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) in society, to carry out advocacy activities to contribute to legal regulatory processes in treatment, and to contribute to patients and their relatives' free access to treatment, education and social rights. In this context, the donations and supports we receive are provided only through the methods on our corporate website.
