Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a genetically inherited disease that causes muscle loss and weakness. Also known as limp baby syndrome. Although it is not possible to completely cure this disease today, treatment options are increasing and scientific studies are continuing. It is necessary to recognize and accept the disease, learn treatment methods, and most importantly, not give up the fight.

Turkey SMA Foundation Deputy Chairman Ece Soyer Demir shares with this book a few moments from his birth. He aims to be your guide as he tells you about the struggle of his son Çağan Meriçeri, his wife and family, who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) disease a month later.
