AS Türkiye SMA FOUNDATION, WE ATTENDED THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION!

As the Turkish SMA Foundation, we organized the International Freedom of Organisation, which was prepared in cooperation with TÜSEV and STGM and took place in Istanbul on 11-12 June. We attended the conference.
The opening speech of the conference was made by Alexander Fricke, Head of Civil Society, Fundamental Rights, Justice and Home Affairs Department of the EU Delegation to Turkey.
Two At the meeting, which lasted for days and five separate panels, we listened to 19 speakers from national and international platforms who are experts in their fields.
100’ü On the first day of the conference, which had more than 100 participants, new approaches to combating the challenges faced by democracies, how civil society showed resilience in difficult times, and the impact of new technologies on civil society were discussed.
The second day was organized. Legal regulations and the role of global civil society agenda and international regulations on the protection of freedom; Topics were discussed.
At the end of the second day, TÜSEV Secretary General Rana Kotan and Civil Society Development Center Association General Coordinator; Dr. ‘End of Day Evaluation’ by Tezcan Eralp Abay It was held.
