We also had the opportunity to explain rare diseases to a wide audience through the stands we set up.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality event, awareness presentations at Eskişehir City College, Ankara Doğa College, Eskişehir Private Basari Anatolian High School, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Health, Application and Research Hospital. We reached different segments of the society about rare diseases and the unknowns of SMA, which is in this category, by setting up information stands at the Faculty of Education and Education. Thanks to the interactive presentations, we shared the obstacles in education, health and social life of individuals living with rare diseases and the solution suggestions to overcome these obstacles.
