As Turkey SMA Foundation, we become stronger as we learn: Regional Expert & Family Seminars. We held our Mediterranean Region Adana Seminar, which is the second of our program.

In the seminar where we brought together individuals living with SMA and their families with specialist physicians, physiotherapists and nutritionists; Current approaches ranging from diagnosis to treatment, physiotherapy practices, nutritional support, psychosocial resilience and access to social rights were discussed comprehensively. While the participants were strengthened with practical suggestions that facilitate the care process, they also increased solidarity by sharing experiences. We extend our heartfelt thanks to their families. We continue to learn together and grow stronger together.
