WE PARTICIPATED IN THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL SMA SCIENCE CONGRESS ORGANIZED BY SMA EUROPE

As the Turkish SMA Foundation, we are organizing the "5th Congress" held by SMA Europe in Budapest, Hungary, on 11-14 March 2026. To the International SMA Science Congress” We participated.

Representing our foundation in this congress; Our Scientific Advisory Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Kürşat Bora Çarman and Resource Development Specialist Can Akgün attended.

The congress organized by SMA Europe was attended by universities, universities, especially in the field of patient advocacy, from nearly 40 countries. medicine Nearly 1000 people from many fields, such as volunteers and professionals from the field of health services, attended the event. Screening programs, the general status of the treatments provided in Europe and around the world, the latest data on treatments and new treatment interventions, patients' access to existing social rights, status assessments of civil society and patient advocacy, and issues related to the care situation of SMA patients in the future were discussed in detail. As the SMA Europe representative of our Foundation, he participated in this congress, where many different topics and researches in the field of SMA were discussed for 3 days, and exchanged ideas with the stakeholders in the congress.
