WE GROW STRONGER AS WE LEARN: EXPERT FAMILY SEMINAR - MARMARA REGION, ISTANBUL-EUROPEAN SIDE - WE HELD OUR SEMINAR.

As the Turkish SMA Foundation, we held the third seminar of our "We Are Strengthening as We Learn" Regional Expert & Family Seminar Program, the Marmara Region Istanbul-European Side Seminar, on Saturday, June 13th.

In the seminar, where we brought together SMA patients and their families with experts in the field; following the presentation and opening speech by our Scientific Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Kürşat Bora Çarman titled "A Multifaceted Perspective on SMA Disease," our experts provided comprehensive information with trainings by Prof. Dr. Ela Erdem Eralp on "Respiratory Health in SMA Disease," Nazlı Demir, Founding Board Member and Social Support Coordinator of the Turkish SMA Foundation, and a presentation by the foundation, Dr. Lecturer Azize Reda Tunç on "Physical Therapy Applications in SMA Disease," and our Legal Advisor, Attorney Dr. Ahmet Haşim Alagüney, on "Our Social Rights."

Throughout the seminar; The program covered numerous topics, including diagnosis and treatment, physiotherapy, respiratory health, and social rights, all aimed at facilitating the care process for families and empowering them with rights-based information.
