Interview with Mr. Kürşad Arat, President of the Social Security Institution

On Friday, October 14, 2022 As the Board of Directors of the Turkish SMA Foundation, we paid a visit to the President of the Social Security Institution, Mr. Kürşad Arat. Our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ali Soyer, Ece Soyer Demir, Günay Soyer and Ceren Pehlivan attended the meeting.

During the current treatment process, Zolgensma and Evrysdi treatments were withdrawn. In the meeting in which we conveyed our opinions and demands regarding the inclusion of patients within the scope of payment, ensuring that all patients benefit from the treatment fairly, medical device payments, and the problems encountered in the PGT method and its regulation, we, as the Turkish SMA Foundation, also expressed our opinions and demands. We presented information about the activities we carry out.
