We attended the SMA Europe Annual General Assembly Meeting

We attended the 2023 Annual General Assembly meeting with the invitation of SMA Europe, to which we were accepted as a member last year, representing our country. The congress, hosted by SMA Europe, which brings together institutions struggling with SMA from different countries of the world, was held in Prague on 27-29 April 2023. çç The agenda of the day-long program included SMA treatment, patients' access to treatment, developments in the world and advocacy activities.
At the congress, where awareness activities to be held in 2023 were also discussed, in addition to scientific sessions, events were held where non-governmental organizations working in the field shared their experiences. At the SMA 2023 Congress and General Assembly, our foundation's Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Ece Soyer Demir, our Social Supports Coordinator Nazlı Demir and our International Studies Coordinator; Aykut Yüceünüvar represented.
