WE ATTENDED THE EURORDIS MEMBERSHIP MEETING

We attended the EURORDIS Membership Meeting.

As Turkey SMA Foundation; We attended the EURORDIS Membership Meeting, hosted by EURORDIS, in Stockholm, Sweden, on 25-27 May 2023, representing our country.

Turkey SMA Foundation Financial and Administrative Affairs Coordinator; Burcu Demirhan and Corporate Communications Coordinatorö The meeting attended by Ceren Pehlivan on behalf of our foundation; EU institutions are expected to review the legislation, which is a milestone for rare diseases, and to pave the way for new legal regulations, including the European Health Data Area and the European Mental Health Strategy. It created an important agenda within the scope of the opening.

In the EURORDIS Membership Meeting program, mental health, digital health, which significantly affects the lives of 30 million patients living with rare diseases in Europe and their families. Current issues, especially the role of health services, digital security and literacy, were discussed and ideas were exchanged about the recognition of disability and the opportunities that can be created in this context.

Üç In the day-long program, "Lifelong Holistic Approach and Full Participation in Society" was discussed. Under the title, sessions were also included for opportunities to establish professional relationships between workshops and institutions.
