On this path we have set out to provide accessible services in health, education and social areas to individuals and their families with SMA, and to support the implementation of new treatment methods; We are working to reach a healthy tomorrow. One of the most important sources of income that gives strength to our work is the real estate donated to our Foundation.

 

Our foundation considers the following criteria in real estate donations:

 

  • Finding the title deed of the real estate to be donated, mortgage, annotation, lien, tax debt etc. absence,
  • Not having legal problems related to inheritance and other issues,
  • It is not in the protected area, green area, municipal expropriation area, security and archaeological area as zoning.

 

You can make your real estate donation in two ways:

  • land Office

There are two types of applications for donations made at the Land Registry Office.

  • Unconditional Donation: The foundation official, together with the donor, performs the transaction in the relevant Land Registry Office in a way that transfers all the rights of the real estate to the foundation.
  • Donation with Right of Usufruct: The authorized person of the foundation, together with the donor, transfers the real estate at the relevant Land Registry Office in a way that the donor can use it until his death. The donor can use, restore, rent the real estate until his death, but cannot sell or transfer it. After his death, all the rights of the real estate pass to the foundation.

 

  • Donation by Will:

If the donor wants the real estate he owns to remain with the Turkish SMA Foundation after his death, he draws up a will in the presence of a notary public.

 

In order to issue a real estate donation will, the donor must obtain a health report from official health institutions and the will at the notary public must be made on the same day the report is received. During the notary process, it is required to present the identity card, the title deed of the real estate, 5 pictures and two people as witnesses. The donor must give a copy of the will to our foundation. This document is kept in the archive of our foundation.

sends an information letter to the Population Office where the donor is registered , stating that the person has a will. When the death occurs, the relevant court will understand that there is a will, and our Foundation will step in , since in the case to be heard, a copy of the population registration will be requested from the Civil Registry Office where the person is registered . When the court's decision becomes final, the registration process in the name of the Foundation is completed at the relevant Land Registry Office.
