Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca Made a Statement About the Drugs Used in SMA Treatment at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Plan and Budget Commission. In his presentation at the Budget Commission, he said that the license of the drug called Risdiplam, which SMA patients have been waiting for a long time, has reached the cut-off stage. Minister Koca; He stated that Spinraza, whose active ingredient is Nusinersen and has been included in the scope of reimbursement since 2019, and Risdiplam, whose licensing process is ongoing, are in the ministry's treatment guide. He also said that the preparations for the hospital, which was previously announced to be established for gene therapy and rare diseases, are continuing.
