AS Türkiye SMA FOUNDATION, WE PARTICIPATED IN THE 13TH FAMILY MEDICINE CONGRESS WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION.

As the Turkish SMA Foundation, we attended the 13th Family Medicine Congress with International Participation. Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOG) Faculty of Medicine Department of Child Health and Diseases faculty member Prof. attended the Medicine Congress. Dr. Kürşat Bora Çarman, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Ece Soyer Demir, Social Supports Coordinator; Nazlı Demir and Resource Development Coordinatorö Ceren Pehlivan participated.

Dr. In his presentation, Kürşat Bora Arman gave information about SMA disease, genetic causes of the disease, signs, symptoms, carrier and newborn screening programs and current treatment methods. Turkey SMA Foundation Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Ece Soyer Demiroğlu Çağan Merç and the process from the day they were diagnosed to today. A presentation was made about the founding story, work and activities of the Turkish SMA Foundation. As the Turkish SMA Foundation, we opened a stand and exchanged information with valuable family physicians on newborn and carrier screening and received information about the problems experienced in the field.
